Helping Hands Community Thrift Store Benefits Community

Helping Hands Community Thrift Store and Furniture Bank partners with local non-profits like Pacific House to distribute proceeds from the sale of gently used items. Donations can be dropped off (or they offer pick-up service for larger applicances and furniture) knowing a second home awaits! Check them out the next time you need to de-clutter, spring clean or edit your belongings.

Why we've changed our name...

Many things are working well at Shelter for the Homeless.  Thanks to your help we are able to:

  • get people back on their feet
  • offer the most vulnerable a safe place to sleep and a healthy warm meal
  • partner with community agencies to ensure that no one is falling through the cracks
  • develop innovative solutions for permanent housing
  • help eradicate chronic homelessness among veterans across the state

But it’s time for a change…..
