Pat Phillips (far left) receives the Lifetime Achievement Award from The Volunteer Center and United Way of Western Connecticut on Janaury 10, 2014 for her dedication to Domestic Violence Crisis Center, Shelter for the Homeless and Person-To-Person. Mrs. Phillips is co-founder and Chair Emerita of Shelter for the Homeless.
This awesome group - Help for the Homeless- is Greenwich High School students in grades 9-12.
Approximately 60 student-members meet weekly, and also cook and serve dinner at
Pacific House emergency shelter once per month.
This group was founded by Dr. Sandi Mond and led by student leader Max Gould.
These kids have a positive impact on the clients at the shelter and we thank them for their committment!
The Cooking Project was in full gear on October 15 at First Presbyterian Church in Greenwich as David Mond Leadership Group and celebrity chef Sasha Bernstein showed off their culinary skills and cooked a meal to serve at Shelter for the Homeless.
