President and CEO of Stamford Hospital

 

Brian G. Grissler is President and CEO of Stamford Hospital, the parent corporation of Stamford Hospital and its affiliated corporations. Mr. Grissler assumed his role in July 2001.  Prior to joining Stamford Health System, Grissler had been the president and chief executive officer of Suburban Hospital Healthcare System for nine years, a 392-bed, $150 million health system located in Bethesda, Maryland, affiliated with Johns Hopkins Medicine. Mr. Grissler, his wife, Patty, and their three children reside in New Canaan.  He serves as a board member of the Southern Connecticut American Heart Association, and is a Board member of the Visiting Nurse & Hospice Care of Southwestern CT.  He is also a member of the Healthcare Leadership Council and One Coast-One Future, a Consortium of the Business Council of Fairfield County.
