A salute to our troops on Veterans' Day and a Thank You every day is on our minds and in our hearts. But this story really hits "home" and stirs our emotions. Two homeless veterans get new Stamford apartments and for that we are very thankful, and excited for their move! John Whitaker and George Hoffman are beneficiaries of Department of Housing and Urban Development housing vouchers. Formerly clients residing at Pacific House emergency shelter, both men moved in on Wednesday - a fitting tribute to them on this special day.
